Competition in the smartphone market is increasing day by day. Even what used to be considered challenging for top brands like Apple and Samsung now seems even more daunting to sell phones. Undoubtedly, Chinese brand Meizu has been significantly affected by this situation. Once, this company had a significant market share, especially in China. However, in the past few years, the company has faced tough competition and has fallen from a good position. Recently, news surfaced that Meizu will bid farewell to the smartphone market and fully focus on the AI sector. However, it now seems that the Chinese brand is not ready to give up just yet, as they have announced the launch date of a new phone called the Meizu 21 Pro. It will hit the market next month.

Meizu 21 Pro will be unveiled at an event hosted by the Chinese brand on February 29. Like any unreleased phone, there is already a lot of speculation on the internet about this Meizu handset. Among them, the first and most attention-grabbing is the price. Previously, Meizu 20 Pro was launched in China for 3,999 yuan (approximately £468)(INR 46,840.00) .
So, many thought the price of the new model would be similar. However, some sources have hinted that the price of Meizu 21 Pro could possibly reach up to 6,000 yuan (approximately £703)(INR 70,300.00) . At first glance, this price may seem quite high, but it should be remembered that Meizu 21 Pro will be a flagship device. It will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Additionally, Meizu 21 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED panel with an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The phone's 4,800 mAh battery could support 80W fast charging. For photography, there will be a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. And a 40-megapixel selfie camera will be seen on the front of the phone.
Moreover, like recent flagships, Meizu 21 Pro is also expected to come with a bunch of AI features. Meizu recently announced that they have discontinued their long-standing "smartphone" projects to focus on artificial intelligence (AI). Therefore, Meizu 21 Pro could be the company's last iconic smartphone. However, this is currently speculation, as there has been no clear statement on this matter yet.
